Feature Request: Customizable PiP Size with Saved Default Settings
Hi Submagic Team!
I'd like to suggest an improvement to the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature in the video editor.
Currently, I use B-rolls throughout approximately 70% of my videos, with a small PiP video of myself speaking in the top-right corner.
Although Submagic allows me to save my preferred B-roll layout as the default,
there is no option to save a customized PiP size.
This means I have to manually resize my PiP every time, which becomes very time-consuming.
My suggestion:
  • Allow users to manually adjust the PiP size.
  • Add an option to
    "Save PiP Size as Default."
  • Automatically apply the saved size and position to all B-roll clips.
  • Keep the PiP dimensions consistent throughout the entire video without requiring manual adjustments.
This would significantly improve editing efficiency, especially for content creators who frequently use B-rolls and PiP layouts.
